BioMate MBC2881E(MemKare NX 20) is a broad spectrum biocontrol agent that exhibits fast acting bactericidal activity at low dose levels. Application of BioMate MBC2881E is by injection into the feed stream during operation of the membrane plant while permeate is discharged to drain. Normal dosage time is 30 minutes per application.
BioMate MBC2881E(MemKare NX 20) is designed to be used as the maintenance procedure in a three step program to control biological growth in membrane separation equipment where biofouling potential is considered to be an operational problem. The frequency of the BioMate MBC2881E(MemKare NX 20) application should be determined by a study of the
normalized system performance, taking into consideration the level of biological activity in the feed, permeate and reject streams. This evaluation can be carried out by P&WC personnel to determine the appropriate dose level, application frequency and injection points.
